  Nice place to walk. Not as lovely as some places, but has its charms. probably better during wet season though when the water level is much higher.

  Great place especially for running & cycling. Pity there's just so much paving. It makes it very hot!!

  Surprisingly clean area, nice to stroll a bit and watch the sunset. There are a few vendors and beggars around. Don't expect a park though, it is a cobbled river front.

  Best place for people watching, sunrise watching, “watching” in general...there’s a reason the hotels all cluster toward the river. Also the temperature is noticeably cooler than in the stifling heat of the rest of the city. Also conveniently populated with exercise machines to work off your cocktails/dinner or help you get to sleep. Be wary (or welcoming, as the case may be) of locals trying to sell you something...& more wary of the location of your wallet. Central artery of a lively/lovely city.
