This place only deserves ZERO star!!! Horrible transportation in Cambodia, don’t think it as part of your journey. We bought ticket one week before, and be asked to be on time for the bus. But when we went there, we waited for our bus for over two hours due to the excuse from bus staff “almost coming”. When the bus came, there’re full already and most of the passengers had same feeling like us. Thus, don’t think this transportation on your planning list!

Do NOT book with this office!! There are multiple offices of respectable bus companies very close by, but this one isn’t it! Bad experience buying the tickets: We tried to book tickets for the 6:30 bus to Sihanoukville, but the clergy was unwilling to state clearly what time the bus would actually leave. Only when writing out the ticket the price of $10 became clear, but when he saw I had three $20 bills he suddenly said he made a mistake and he actually changed the price on the tickets from $10 to $15. Only after showing him that other companies charge between $7 and $12 did he allow me to pay the original $10. No further help or information was given. Bad experience with the bus trip: At 6:50 a bus showed up holding up a sign “Sihanoukville”. Neither the driver nor the bus boys spoke any English, but they happily let us on board when we showed them the ticket. (Note: they kept our ticket when we boarded! Never lose sight of your ticket, even when you offboard!) Then the fun started. For two hours we drove through Phnom Penh picking up passengers and cargo, up to the point where both boxes, and passengers on folding chairs we placed in the aisle, including some very long stops at bus stations, at one of them a new clergy even tried to convince us we needed to leave the bus or buy a new ticket. At 9:30 we finally left the city and where on our way towards Sihanoukville. But even during this leg of the trip there were several stops where people and cargo on/off boarded. And the bus driver decided to ‘save fuel’ by turning off the A/C. It was by then that we realized the Rithy Monty Bus station clergy had scammed us into paying $10 for a ‘local bus’ seat, worth about $3. Around 12:00 we were getting close to destination, but now of course all passengers and cargo had to be dropped at different spots along the road. At 14:00 we were requested to leave the bus. With hands and feet the employees explained that the bus would go no further in the direction of the bus station. This was in a lions den of taxi drivers that even came into the bus to stand in our way requesting we use there services. The bus employees also seemed to refuse to open the cargo hold to give us our backpacks, until we accepted a taxi driver. Conclusion: - Avoid this bus ticket office - Don’t use Rithy Mony (aka RMT) - Hold on to your bus ticket at all cost, even when showing it to gain access to the bus - Don’t pay for a bus ticket before your sure of the arrival time, even though you never expect the bus to actually arrive at that time

Terrible journey we were taken here to buy tickets from a tuk tuk driver we were clearly charged a lot more than usual as we ended up finding out we could of gone with giant ibis for cheaper. The journey was quoted to be 5 hours but took 7 hours with constant stopping. Overcrowded with people sitting on stools in the aisle. Don't trust this place and they nearly forgot to pick us up. Not comfortable seats.

I had a terrible experience with this company coming from sinahoukville to Phnom Penh. Bought a minivan ticket for 9 am ended up in a large overcrowded bus at 11 am without a refund for the difference in ticket cost.
