  Phnom Penh Municipal Referral Hospital is a government hospital with 150 beds and 224 staff include multidisciplinary of care from outpatient to emergency operation. Hospital level is CPA3 defined by MoH guideline. Hospital provides 2 core sevices (1) obstetric care within /and more than 2200 deliveries a year and (2) ophthalmologic care with around 5600 out-patients a year and around 1900 cases operated mostly cataract cases. The successful ophthalmologic care is along with Fred Hollows Foundation/Australia which is the strategic partner to cope with the prevention and the reduction of blindness of vulnerable Cambodian patients. The eye opetation is free of charge. Phnom Penh Municipal Referral Hospital is university hospital providing "on-hand training" to thousands of doctor-nurse-midwife students from different universities in Phnom Penh.
